Congratulations!

今日は夜ご飯は外で食べた。オックスフォードの高級エリア、ジェリコ地区にあるパブ "The Old Bookbinder" にて。

I dined with my friends at the pub "Old Bookbinder", situated in Jericho, a posh area in Oxford.

去年は同じカレッジの友だちと4人で一軒家を借りて住んでいたのだが、そのうちの二人（A-chanとK-chan）が昨日、博士論文を提出したのだった。今夜はそのお祝い。

Last year, I lived in a house with my college friends (four of us, in total), and two of the housemates (A-chan and K-chan) submitted her thesis to the University yesterday. So, today's dinner was an occasion
to celebrate their thesis submissions!

二人は少し疲れていたが、とても充実した顔つきだった。とても喜ばしいことだ。おめでとう:) !!!!

They looked a bit tired, but they were nevertheless deeply satisfied... This is really a fantastic thing, isn't this? Congratulations, A-chan and K-chan!!
